INCREDIBLE EFFICIENCY

• Utilizes Wi-Fi efficiently and significantly reduces airtime contention to optimize the user experience.

• There are various features such as OFDMA (Orthogonal frequency-division multiple access) and cellular optimization. HE80 provides 80MHz channel bandwidth for budget-conscious deployments, with up to 2 spatial streams (2SS).

Benefits of OFDMA:- Handle multiple Wi-Fi 6 capable devices simultaneously, regardless of the traffic type. Clients are not competing for airtime and bandwidth with small sub-carriers or resource units.

CONVENIENCE AND SECURITY

To encrypt and inspect all traffic from the mobility controller to the AP, Aruba's policy enforcement firewall (PEF) feature was included.

WPA3: Latest version of WPA provides enhanced encryption and authentication.

Enhanced open: Automatically encrypt to protect guest network user password & data. 

MPSK ( WPA 2): Changing password on one device will be reflected on all other devices as well.

VPN Tunnels: Connect securely to a VPN concentrator through a Secure SSL/IPSec VPN tunnel. 

Connectivity: These 500 Series can connect up to 256 clients per radio (512 in total). Client density depends on environmental conditions in real-world scenarios.

IOT CAPABILITY: 

Includes Bluetooth 5 and 802.15.4 (for Zigbee support) to simplify location services, asset tracking, security solutions, and IoT sensor deployment. As a result, organizations can leverage the 500 Series as an IoT platform, reducing IT resources and overlaying infrastructure costs.

IOT POWER :

• A vertically polarized omnidirectional antenna with roughly 30 degrees of downtilt and peak gain of 3.3 dB.

DEVICE POWER:

• Supports both DC power and Power over Ethernet
• DC power takes priority over POE in the presence of both DC and POE power sources
• Function without restrictions when powered by DC or 802.3 at (class 4) POE.
• USB port will be disabled when powered by 802.3 at (class 3) POE.
• Same configuration with IPM enabled starts unrestricted, but dynamically applies restrictions according to POE budget. Restrictions and order are programmed.
