The MTP / MPO cleaner are innovative design device that is used to clean the ferrule end-face of MPO / MTP fiber connectors. Mechanical push action makes this optical tape more effective and gentle in the end cleaning phase of the MTP / MPO fiber connector. It saves time to clean all 8/12/24 fibers at once. Both exposed jumper ends and connectors in adapters can be cleaned with the MTP/MPO fiber optic cleaner. The tool is cost-effective for cleaning fiber end-faces without using alcohol.

How does it work?

As shown in the above figure, fiber cleaners use cleaning heads to clean the end ferrules of connectors and adapters that cannot be seen with the naked eye. This cleaner is equipped with protective caps that prevent dust from entering. Moreover, these thumb wheels are enclosed with several rounds of linear polyester that are used to clean the adapters and connectors without causing any damage

Cleaning the connector and adapter requires different steps:

For Adapter:- 

STEP 1:- Discard the protective cap.

STEP 2:- Insert a cleaner tip into the adapter and turn the thumbwheel backward twice until it clicks.

For Connector:- 

STEP 1:- Remove the protective cap cover carefully.

STEP 2:- Insert the fiber cleaner tip into the connector, apply light pressure, and turn the thumb wheel backward until it clicks twice.
