These VSOL ONT (Optical Network Terminal) is a dual broadband access device designed to meet the needs of fixed network operators for FTTH and triple play services. It is based on high-performance chip solutions and supports XPON dual-mode technology (EPON and GPON). Additionally, the VSOL HG325AX ONT (4GE+1POTS+WiFi6 XPON HGU ONT) is equipped with IEEE802.11b/g/n/ac/ax WiFi 6 technology and other Layer 2/Layer 3 functions, providing data service for carrier-grade FTTH applications. Moreover, the ONT is able to support the OAM/OMCI protocol, allowing us to configure or manage various services of the ONT on the VSOL OLT.

When compared to the previous ONT (AC 1200) generation, this AX 1800 ONT provides a wifi 6 dual-band speed higher than 52 percent. With this inbuilt OFDMA technology, network latency reduces up to 75 % while leveraging resources.

Built-in high-performance signal amplifier (PA & LNA) improves the receiver sensitivity. Making the router signal more capable of penetrating through walls.

AC 1200 ONT  vs Ax 1800 ONT 

Normally, when compared to VSOL AC 1200 ONT, AX 1800 ONT has high speed as described above. Because the earlier version supported wifi 5 with 1200Mbps of 2.4 GHZ & 5 GHz ( IEEE 802.11 ac ) frequency by using MTK wifi 5 chipset. These AX 1800 are integrated with Realtek chipset, an upgraded wifi 6 solution that is more capable of providing 1800 Mbps at both frequencies of 2.4GHz & 5 GHz (IEEE 802.11 ax) with 2x2 Multi-User MIMO technology. These are specially designed to fulfill the needs of FTTH and triple-play service demand for fixed network operators. Moreover it also supports full management of HGU devices through VSOL OLT. 

This XPON ONT supports OLT functions such as Management mode, L2 & L3 route function, Multicast, VOIP, and enclosed firewalls.

Management Mode: This Mode support WEB, TELNET , OAM , OMCI, and TR069. 

• WEB Mode allows administrator to manage connected devices via GUI.
• With the help of TELNET , we can access this X PON ONT remotely.
• OMCI is used to configure and monitor ONT.
• OAM and TR069 Modes are also supported.

Layer 3 Function:- This GPON ONT HG325AX supports IPv4 / IPv6, PPPoE, DHCP Client/Server, NAT, and DDNS.With the help of this feature, we can make a safe and secure network connection.

Firewall:- This ONU is enabled with Anti-DDOS. This security firewall prevents malicious activities by using certain rules like ACL. This will help to filter and manage certain traffic that is accessible by the network. Filtering is usually based on ACL/ MAC/URL.
