Why do we need a Fiber Optic V-Groove?
Fiber optic grooves are crucial for aligning and coupling optical fibers to devices. In addition, bare fiber connectors are used to connect two optical fibers. Hence, fiber optic v grooves and bare fiber connectors are crucial components for optical devices. By aligning and connecting two optical fibers, they ensure proper alignment of the optical fiber.
How to use it?
To use the Fiber Optic V-Groove,
- Clean the end of the optical fiber with Isopropyl Alcoholl and a lint-free cloth.
- Next, insert the optical fiber into the v-groove so that the fiber core is centered.
- Finally, place the other end of the optical fiber into the coupling device or directly into the light source.
Note: Avoid colliding and scraping the precision V-groove with rough objects to prevent damage to the tank. Every time the V-groove needs to be cleaned, it must be wiped down with an alcoholic cotton ball.

- Finally, rinse the v-groove with water and dry it with a lint-free cloth.
