SY-8000P-2S-150W-L2 POE switch supports IEEE802.3af/at Standard, the maximum transfer distance is 100 meters. This PoE switches supply power to end devices with IEEE802.3af/at standard, so users need not worry about their non-PoE devices being damaged. Additionally, the PoE switch will stop providing power when the PoE-powered device is disconnected. As a result of its simple and reliable design, L2switch has the capability to identify the PoE demand, speed, duplex, and cable type Auto Uplink on the fly. It is mainly used for wireless APs and IP surveillance cameras, reducing costs and simplify installation.

HERE ARE SOME APPLICATION SUGGESTIONS:

1. Check the PoE switch  

➛ Check the enclosure, RJ45 ports, and LED indicators.

➛ Make sure the PoE switch is powered and initialized as follows:

➛  At the beginning of a power connection, the POE indicator is off 

➛ Indicator of POW is always on  

➛ One or two seconds later, other indicators will turn off

2. Connection cables 

 1) Use CAT5 or 6 cables to connect the switch to a computer or other PD (IP camera, APs)

 2) Connect the external power adapter to  Switch and the AC plug to power cord
