This 72-core CPU processor is capable of transferring over 120 million packets per second. Integrated routing capabilities such as OSPF, BGP, and MPLS protocols, which are essential for building and managing complex networks. These integrated color LCD touchscreen provides a user-friendly interface for configuring and managing the router.  For secure network connection, these include VPN technology such as IPSec, L2TP, and other advanced security features. 

how differ from CCR2216-1G-12XS-2XQ

They are two main differences when compared to CCR2216 they are

1. Port Configuration: CCR1072 has 8 SFP+ ports for 10G connectivity. On the other hand, CCR2216 comes up with  12 SFP+ ports and 2 QSFP+ ports for 100G connectivity. In this CCR 2216 are perfect for high bandwidth requirements.

2. Processor Power: CCR1072 is powered by a Tilera Tile-Gx72 CPU with 72 cores, while the CCR2216 powered by a Marvell Armada 8040 CPU with 16 cores. 

Overall, both router has unique features when it comes. Among these CCR1072  is better suited for extremely high-speed routing and complex network environments.
