- These D Link 1510 series are latest generation from 1210 series. This switch is integrated with advanced L3 management features such as industry-standard CLI, serial console port,web-based UI, and network Capabilities (VLAN, multiple spanning tree protocol, link aggregation, static routing, multiple firmware images, and multiple configuration files).
- Direct attach cables or compatible SFP+ transceivers can be used to create physical stacks of up to 6 units for a total of 288-gigabit ports. Additionally, the remaining uplink ports can provide 10G connectivity for core networks and servers.
- Features such as IGMP snooping, access control lists, port security, and the unique Safeguard Engine are enabled to protect from malicious service attacks via broadcast, multicast and unicast flooding. These Intelligent gigabit switches are an excellent solution for enterprise networks.
- Auto Surveillance and Voice VLAN are best suited for VoIP and video deployments. It consolidates data and video transmissions through a single Smart Managed switch, saving businesses money on hardware and infrastructure. IPv6 functionalities such as security features, QOS, and MLD snooping are used to integrate seamlessly with next-generation networks.
- D-Link Network Assistant is a web-based management Interface that enables the administrator easily to set up, configure, and manage the network remotely. These CLI and SNMP allow for centralizing management for a large number of connected devices. It provides access to devices in case of a loss of connectivity or an overloaded switch. Integration of IEEE 802.3 az which automatically decreases the power consumption of low-level traffic.
- When comes to pricing, these Smart managed switches are next-generation series of 1210 & 1250. This switch is slightly more expensive than the 1210 & 1250 series, but it is affordable compared to other top-level brands and has a high level of performance.
